          An opportunity to work in an outstanding National Teaching School housed in contemporary accommodation and located in the beautiful cathedral town of Southwell.

          The Governors wish to appoint two enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Pastoral Support Assistants. The Main School Assistant will join our highly skilled pastoral team and will help to establish high standards of achievement, behaviour and attendance among students within particular year group/s, along with supporting the welfare of individual students. The Post-16 Assistant will work with the Director of Post-16 Studies and Deputy Director of Post-16 studies in the provision of pastoral support and action planning for individual students. They will join our highly skilled Post-16 team and will help to establish high standards of achievement and attendance. This includes re-establishing progress towards targets, along with developing the well-being of individual students.

          Cover Supervisor

          An opportunity to work in an outstanding National Teaching School housed in contemporary accommodation and located in the beautiful cathedral town of Southwell.

          The Governors wish to appoint a cover supervisor. The role will involve supervising whole classes and tutor sessions during short-term teacher absence, providing support in curriculum areas and providing daily break and lunch time supervision. All work will be under the guidance of the lead cover supervisor and appropriate subject leaders, within an agreed system of supervision.

          An opportunity to work in an outstanding School housed in contemporary accommodation and located in the beautiful cathedral town of Southwell.

          The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Premises Manager with experience of staff supervision and a willingness to carry out physical work.  The applicant should also have experience of managing building security and maintenance and will be a primary key holder for the school site. Occasional out of hours call outs will be required, as is attendance at lettings on a rota basis evening and weekends.

          Good IT skills are essential as is the ability to work independently on one’s own initiative whilst leading the Premises Team with demonstrably high standards.

          Working hours are 37 per week, Monday to Friday between 6am and 10pm on a rota’d shift basis.

          The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Maths Hub Co-ordinator to support the work of the East Midlands East Maths Hub, starting in September 2020. The successful candidate will join our highly skilled Maths Hub and Teaching School team and will help to establish high standards of recruitment, provision and evaluation of the work of the Maths Hub alongside the Maths Hub Lead and Maths Hub Administrator. In addition, the post will be responsible for the administration of the School Direct training programme operated by the Minster Teaching School Alliance.
